ROBBIES FAVORITE MEDIA YEAH!!

JUNO!

Juno is one of my favorite movies of all time and it's hard to even explain why. I think the dialogue is hilarious and the acting is amazing (I mean, it IS Elliot Page and Micheal Cera- my two favorite actors of all time). It's such a beautifully wholesome and cute movie even with the subject matter and I just love how kind everyone is to eachother. It reminds me of a slightly less artsy Wes Anderson movie. Don't even get me started on how cute Juno and Paulie are together. Overall, a 8/10 movie, I rewatch it on my birthday every year.

I saw the Tv Glow ★

Do you ever finish a piece of media that's so good that you feel like you're cheating on it if you consume any other media for the next week? No? Just my OCD? Cool cool cool. Anyways- That's how I felt about "I Saw the Tv Glow." Holy crap this movie changed my life. It's so good I can't even explain it to someone or even reccomend it without warning them that they most likely will finish the movie and not understand it at all. That scene where Owen and Maddy were standing on the football field was where the plot twist (that Isabel and Tara were now trapped in Owen and Maddys bodies and couldn't leave) clicked for me and I was flabbergasted. The part where Maddy gave her speech and started referring to Owen as Isabel had me sobbing, and the horror was so well made and horrifyingly beautiful. If a "Don't Let The Forest In" (my favorite book) movie ever came out, this is exactly how i'd want it to be made. Overall, a 9/10 movie, changed my life forever, may have broke me.

Favorite quote: I apologized over and over for the whole thing, and I begged and screamed for them to let me out. But no one was coming.

Five Nights At Freddys 1 ★

"you actually liked that bad movie??" YES YES YES I DID NOW LEAVE ME ALONE. I think I remember watching a Kurtis Conner video where he says something like "There's no bad movies because every piece of art with some soul attached to it is good to me." And that's how I felt after watching this movie. My favorite parts: I actually really liked the romance plot between Mike and Vanessa, I'm a fanfiction nerd so I will eat up ANY romance plot, even if the movie is bad. The acting wasn't actually that bad. Vannesas acting was a little odd but I thought Abby and Willams actors did amazing. The animatronics were so sick (I got to see them irl, they looked even cooler up close). I thought Abby being friends with the animatronics was adorable. I DID think Vanessa being Williams daughter was a little interesting, not a big fan of her love interest and her brother having the same name though. Overall, I'd say a 6/10 movie. Not insane or anything but I like to rewatch it during the spooky season.

mob psycho 100

Best anime ever? Probably. Not to be a cornball but this show definetly changed my life. It follows this boy named Mob (Shigeo), who works for his psychic boss, Reigen. Reigen is a fraud, he can't read minds, or get rid of spirits,or really do anything psychic, but Mob can- and is in fact the most powerful psychic in the world. Sounds like a typical shonen anime, but it's written like a shoujo and is in fact very very emotional. (In my humble opinion) Mob's powers are a metaphor for being neurodivergent. He usually goes to "100% mode" whenever he gets too angry or sad or overwhelmed and his powers become impossible to control and he hates them. Reigen has the best character development of any character i've ever seen and he's my favorite anime character ever. AND there's no fan service. how bout them apples. anyways, a 10/10 anime, no doubt. Gets so much better after the first episode.

win or lose

First I heard that Pixar was making a TV show and didn't want to give any money to disney so I passed. Then I found all of the episodes on youtube for free uploaded by someone not affiliated with Disney and so I binged the whole show in about 2 or 3 hours. Oh. My. God. Such a funny and heartwarming show. Of course, It gets cringy at time (again, made by Pixar), But it was completely worth my time, and even made me start getting into baseball again. And there's trans rep for my LGBTQs out there. My favorite character is Coach Dan (totally not because he's voiced by Will Forte....totally...). A 8/10 show for sure! I wasn't bored for a single second.

MUSIC

(This includes albums, musicians, songs, bands, everything music related)

ALBUM: IGOR (Tyler, The Creator)

so so so so so good. you will NEVER catch me hating on albums that tell a story throughout the songs. DANG THOSE ARE GOOD. I've always interpeted the story as the character, Igor, falls in love with this guy (who he's already friends with), but they can't be together. So he keeps pining over him until he confesses, is rejected, then the song "Are We Still Friends?" happens (best song on the album btw), and Igor is wondering if him and the person who rejected him are still friends. Only some people know this, but on the physical version of Igor, there's a secret track called "Boyfriend", so hey, maybe Igor did get his boy. 8/10 on the rating scale.

Favorite songs: RUNNING OUT OF TIME and Are We Still Friends?
